  • As part of the Town of Wellfleet's new water supply and distribution system expansion plan, Environmental Partners provided planning and design for a new 500,000 gallon elevated water storage tank.  Construction of the tank is currently under way and is expected to be complete by July 2010, with an estimated construction cost of $1.45 million. The total project cost for this phase of work is approximately $6 million.  Environmental Partners assisted the Town in securing $4.5 Million in grants and $1.5 Million in low interest loans from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to construct the project.
  • Environmental Partners was retained by the City of Waltham to plan, investigate, and design elements of a private Inflow Removal Program.  The program was based on creating an amnesty for property owners with illicit connections from sump pumps to the City's sanitary sewer system. Illicit connections were remediated by redirecting flow from sump pumps to City storm drains or on-site infiltration basins.  New storm drains were installed as necessary. The project is being funded through the Massachusetts State Revolving Fund (SRF) program.
  • In 2009, the voters in the Town of Eastham approved a Town Meeting article to provide funding for Phase 1 of a long-term water resources exploration and permitting process.  The initial steps in this process include Environmental Partners providing a thorough assessment of Eastham's potential water resources, with the goal of identifying and permitting sufficient water supplies to serve a town-wide municipal water system.  The first phases of exploration are complete and subsequent modeling and permitting steps are underway. Environmental Partners assisted in securing $3 Million in USDA low interest loans for the Town to fund the project.
  • After having completed permitting, coordination and pilot testing, Environmental Partners Group recently completed the final design of a 4.5 million gallon per day manganese greensand water treatment plant for the Town of Harwich.  The design is currently being reviewed by MADEP.
  • Construction of the new 8 million gallon per day Great Pond Water Treatment Plant in Weymouth, MA has been on-going since July 2008.  The concrete tanks and building shell are completed.  The Contractor is busy installing equipment and piping with an effort to complete the project and begin operation of the new facilities by July 2010.
