

Environmental Partners was retained by the Town of Orleans to identify performance limiting factors, develop effective solutions, and design improvements for their 4.5 MGD ultrafiltration membrane treatment facility. Environmental Partners provided design, bidding, and construction administration, start-up assistance and training services for the improvements project.
After conducting a flow balance through the facility, and completing various field activities including settleability tests and soil percolation tests, Environmental Partners developed an implementation plan for addressing operational deficiencies.
After construction was complete, a facility audit was conducted to confirm that process equipment was in compliance with the designed scope of work. Deficiencies were identified, and solutions developed. In addition, Environmental Partners assisted in the review of SCADA programming and testing.
Environmental Partners completed the design of the following recommended improvements:
