We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with experience in municipal wastewater engineering projects, which include the planning, design, and construction of collection and/or treatment systems in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Experience with I/I studies, SSES, and wastewater facilities planning is also preferred, and experience with water and storm water projects is a plus.
This individual will be based in Middletown, Connecticut, yet may be involved in multiple project assignments with diverse clients throughout the firm. Will play a significant role in mentoring younger staff and must be able to manage all project technical, budget, staff, and client aspects of assignments. Business development skills that encompass lead identification and pursuit, strategic planning, proposal development, presentation, and interviews are a must.
Education and Experience:
B.S. or M.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 10 or more years of experience
Registered Professional Engineer in Connecticut and Massachusetts preferred
AutoCAD, modeling experience, report and proposal writing
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients, staff, subconsultants, and contractors through effective leadership. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
