Pavement Management

With limited funding available to municipalities each year, Pavement Management is a valuable tool that allows for planning pavement maintenance and preservation to stretch municipal investments and reduce pavement life cycle costs.

Helping municipalities faced with maintaining aging infrastructure with limited funding, Environmental Partners (EP) provides Pavement Management to prioritize and allocate budget in a phased approach with consideration for pavement preservation- maintaining roadways before they require more costly full depth reconstruction. EP has created a unique GIS platform that allows for pavement failure characteristics to be collected, Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and Cost Benefit Index (CBI) of each road segment to be calculated, projects to be phased, and construction costs estimated. The resulting Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is used by municipalities in planning their future budgets.
