Environmental Partners Group has provided Geographic Information System (GIS) and related mapping design, implementation and training to many municipalities. GIS technology assists municipal departments in accomplishing operations and maintenance tasks more quickly and efficiently. GIS technology can be the basis for revolutionizing how government processes work. Our GIS professionals work closely with municipal staff to develop a system that is tailored to unique operational needs, technical capabilities, and available budget. Once the system is complete, we train staff on-site and provide ongoing support as needed, even after the system has been delivered.
Our GIS/Mapping projects have been integrated with master planning for water supply and distribution systems, water distribution system hydraulic modeling, wastewater facilities planning, Phase II storm water management, and upgrading of assessor's maps.
Environmental Partners Group uses the latest GIS technology to develop geographic data for your system, including ESRI’s software products for system development. Our GIS professionals are ESRI trained and certified. We also utilize technology such as GPS and mobile computing to enhance field data collection and mapping, which allows us to provide comprehensive service to meet all of your needs.
Environmental Partners Group can also assist in the development of an ArcIMS application. Our knowledgeable staff can guide you through each step of the process from server and software purchases to final online mapping, web site development, and implementation. Using ArcIMS, Environmental Partners Group can also create and host web-based applications for GIS data on our server, extending its usage without the need for expensive software licenses or training. Web-based applications are completely mobile — accessible even on web-enabled PDAs and mobile computers and therefore can be used by maintenance staff in the field to save time and money when repairs are necessary.
