For the past 7 years, Senior Project Engineer and Associate, Lauren Underwood, has been speaking with and advising the Civil Engineering Senior Design Class at her alma mater, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
This year on February 2nd, Lauren presented, “A Look Into Consulting and Life After Graduation.” Her presentation included her experiences working in the consulting industry, preparing for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and interviews, the importance of networking, and the New England Water Works Association.
Lauren shares, “I’ve been discussing life after graduation with the Civil Engineering seniors at UMD for about 7 years now. I remember how overwhelmed and nervous I felt when I was getting ready to graduate, so I am passionate about doing what I can to help students in their transition.”
