Water Quality Studies

Evaluation of water quality at all stages of production and distribution is vital to the consistent production of high-quality drinking water.

One cannot independently evaluate distribution system water quality without considering source water quality, treatment effectiveness (suitability, chemistry, operations), and distribution system infrastructure. Water quality must be evaluated simultaneously at the source, during and after treatment, and within the distribution system. By far the biggest challenge of all water systems is the need to maintain simultaneous compliance with multiple interdependent drinking water regulations while minimizing unintended consequences and negative secondary impacts. Environmental Partners (EP’s) staff understand the complexity of water system operations, and have performed numerous bench scale, pilot scale, and full-scale water treatability studies throughout New England.
