Court Street Stormwater Pump Station

EP is working with the Department of Public Works of Provincetown, MA to provide relief to a chronic localized flooding problem on Court Street. The area receives over 1 million gallons of water during extreme rainfall events, which inundates Court Street with over 1-foot of floodwater causing damage to several local businesses and preventing vehicular circulation.

The proposed solution includes a 4,000-gpm (gallon per minute) stormwater pump station, a 16” diameter force main, and a new local drainage system with treatment. The design will provide relief from large storm events and will significantly alleviate the ongoing issue the community has experienced.
