Ongoing since 2015, construction of Eastham’s Municipal Water System has included two well pump stations, one water storage tank, and a distribution system of over 105 miles of ductile iron water mains with over 1,800 properties connected. This photo shows Dig It Construction installing one of these water mains along Fort Hill Road in front of the Knowles Farm Inn with archeological oversight.
Over the next few years, one additional well pump station and water storage tank along with approximately 25 miles of water distribution system piping will also be constructed.
