The recently constructed Muddy Pond Replacement Wells and Pump Station, put on-line in May 2021, re-establishes production from an existing 130-year old gravity collection well water supply.
This multi-year project included the construction of a replacement wellfield, to operate in tandem with the historic gravity collection well system, and two pump stations. Raw water is treated for pH adjustment and chlorine residual, prior to entering a clear well for 4-log inactivation of viruses and being pumped into the water distribution system.
