Construction continues on the Town of Easton’s new Water Treatment Plant (WTP)!
The 1.69 million gallon per day (MGD) WTP will treat raw water from three existing groundwater supplies for the removal of source water iron and manganese. One year into construction, the Contractor has finished concrete work, including construction of an underground clearwell and has erected the pre-engineered metal building. Construction is expected to finish by the end of 2023 following the installation of process equipment and completion of startup activities.

After 22 months of construction, startup is kicking off on the Town of Easton’s new Water Treatment Plant (WTP)!
Functional testing of WTP finished water pumps kicked off in November 2023 and startup of the iron/manganese treatment system will continue through the late Fall/Winter.
