Sustainable Mobility Plan Update

Sustainable mobility—the ability for people and goods to move around effectively in a sustainable manner using a variety of “low-impact” travel modes, such as walking, biking, and transit, in addition to reducing the GHG emissions resulting from car trips—is emerging as a critical component in efforts to the carbon footprint of transportation.

To meet their ambitious climate change goals, EP worked with the Town of Wellesley to create a Sustainable Mobility Plan that provides a framework for expanding sustainable mobility in Town over the next 5-10 years through a diverse set of strategies targeting travel patterns, land use, and electric vehicle adoption.
