Sidewalk improvements to the Town of Tisbury’s Main Street are complete!
Implementing safety accommodations, EP designed curb extensions to calm traffic, shorten pedestrian crossing distances, and improve sight lines between motorists and crossing pedestrians. The curb extensions also afford additional space for new street furniture that were included in the project to enhance the pedestrian experience. Much of the surrounding roadway and sidewalks were maintained to minimize costs while providing these transformative improvements for the walking public in this downtown.
