EP CARES: Holiday Community Support 2022

Over the last few weeks, our team has come together for two efforts to support our communities. November kicked off a food drive that yielded over 200 pounds of donated shelf-stable goods that were distributed to Connecticut Foodshare, Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc., and the Woburn Council of Social Concern.

December brought a new commitment – supporting Wonderfund in their pursuit to ensure that children in the foster care system throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts receive the clothes they need to stay warm and dry this winter and the gifts they desire for the holidays.

The EP team successfully fulfilled the wish lists of 15 children ages 2-15 and was able to provide additional gifts, including highly requested gift cards to be distributed by the organization as needed. We share to express deep appreciation to the (roughly) sixty team members who contributed to these events, helping wonderful organizations make an impact by providing food, clothing, and gifts to hopefully spark a bit of holiday joy and comfort during challenging times.

A special shout-out to Annie Tucker and Mollie Scott for owning the roles of Lead and Champion (respectively) for the gift drive and making certain that everything ran smoothly and was received on time.
